This an "important" bug actually (the problem is only impacting a
specific site) based on debian scale.

(see )

But anyway this seems to be a random double free, which impacts specific
sites.

I start webhttrack;
when the browser appears I press "Next";
I enter project name "CalendarFAQ", and press "Next";
I enter URL above using "Add a URL" button, and press "Next";
I press "Start".

The issue is currently under investigation, thanks for the feedback.

Bug#471188: webhttrack: dies while downloading

2008-03-16 Thread Carlos
Package: webhttrack
Version: 3.42.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

I try to download this page (and children):
  http://www.tondering.dk/claus/cal/node1.html

I start webhttrack;
when the browser appears I press "Next";
I enter project name "CalendarFAQ", and press "Next";
I enter URL above using "Add a URL" button, and press "Next";
I press "Start".

Downloading starts and some moments later, it dies (browser can't connect to
remote server).

Messages on the console:

samara:~$ webhttrack
/usr/bin/webhttrack(20329): launching /usr/bin/x-www-browser
/usr/bin/webhttrack(20329): spawning regular browser..
/usr/bin/webhttrack(20329): waiting for browser to terminate..
/usr/bin/webhttrack: line 154: 20344 Segmentation fault ${BINPATH}/htsserver
"${DISTPATH}/" path "${HOME}/websites" lang "${LANGN}" $@
/usr/bin/webhttrack(20329): nasty signal caught, cleaning up..
/usr/bin/webhttrack: line 171: kill: (20344) - No such process
/usr/bin/webhttrack(20329): ..done

(the first 4 lines appear, I press ^C and the other 3 appear.)

Thank you.
