Okay, the patch is in the repository[0], but somehow didn't make it to the final package. If you manually download ltrace_0.5.3.orig.tar.gz [1] and apply ltrace_0.5.3-2.diff.gz [2], you'll see the patch is not applied. Can you try to rebuild the package making sure the fix is included and see if it builds in ppc?
