Bug#613539: insighttoolkit: FTBFS on multiple architectures

2011-04-24 Thread Steve M. Robbins
Hi,

First, thanks for your interest in getting ITK built. I really
appreciate any tips and troubleshooting.

Like Dominique, I have also made a BSD virtual machine and tried
building. I gave my machine 5GB and, like Dominique's 4GB attempt,
the build failed with a bus error in ecj1 while compiling
VXLNumericsJava.java.

Increasing the memory (as Dominique showed above) or limiting the cores
would probably solve this issue. Although I don't know how to do this.

Maybe; however, Dominique found bug #594830 indicating gcj on kfreebsd
has issues even compiling a trivial program. I verified the same
on my system.
