Peter, I get a slightly different error from the build daemons and it looks like some build dependencies are missing. Please could you install xauth in the same chroot. Are you saying that xauth may be at the cause of this? Dirk, I really have no idea. I cannot reproduce the failures seen in the build logs. Instead I got the xauth failure. I would try building in the sid chroot on abel and see what you find. And as far as I can see xauth cannot possibly explain the errors in the build logs.
