I agree with Andrey,

the official homepage states that the project is "interrupted" [1] and
the last change in svn is 17 month ago [2].

So the whole package should be removed.

Yeah, just look at the list of bugs in our BTS. The bug that requires
disabling sound is enough for me, and it's not the only one.

The game itself looks like that kind of games that make people laugh at
"Linux games" as a whole so I would be glad if it was removed from
everywhere but it's just my opinion.

My impression after a short test of the game is that it is quite buggy
also without this bug. I experienced #630946 and the first character
talking to me just talked rubbish characters. Does somebody mind if I
file a request for removal from testing?

Thanks, once the sound deactivated, I've been able to reproduce this
bug. I just rebuilt the package, and Balazar doesn't crash anymore (once
the sound deactivated). The only real change in the rebuilt packages is:

Files in second .deb but not in first
-
-rw-r--r--  root/root /usr/share/games/balazar/Balazar-0.3.4-py2.7.egg-info

Files in first .deb but not in second
-
-rw-r--r--  root/root /usr/share/games/balazar/Balazar-0.3.4-py2.6.egg-info

Those files are identical, modulo the Metadata-Version in the first
line.
