Hi Osamu,

I had to fix FTBFS in unstable (something about debcomp not found, I
have to delete pregenerated Makefile.in to make it work) and while at it
I also update the package to latest upstream (2.8.3), added
autotools-dev support to dh and enabled hardening.

Are you still fine with me NMU-uploading such package or do you want to
review the changes before the upload?
