Dear Berry, Simon and the Games Team,

I digged a little bit into package attal and found that the homepage is
already converted into an irralevent page with hebrew contents. Googling found
that there's a SourceForge project but is also inactive since 2012.

As a result, I believe its upstream is already dead. Considering that there's
also no packaging activity in Debian for the last 9 years and it suffers from
Debian's Qt4 Removal, it should be eligible to package removal.

Berry, please consider sharing your idea about the future maintenance of attal
and attal-themes. I will try to submit an RM bug (RoQA) 31 days later if
there's no reply.

2018-05-31 Thread Simon McVittie
Source: attal
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org

attal fails to build from source since 2016, and depends on Qt 4 which
is no longer maintained. It was not released with stretch. I think it
might be time for this package to be removed from unstable.

If you agree, please reassign this bug to the archive administrators
with control commands similar to these:

severity xx normal
reassign xx ftp.debian.org
retitle xx RM: attal -- RoQA; FTBFS, depends on obsolete Qt 4, not in
stretch

Conversely, if you think this package should remain in Debian, please
close this bug, and fix its other RC bugs.

Please note that Games Team svn is no longer used and will soon be archived.
If this package continues to be in Debian, it should be imported into
salsa.debian.org git.

Thanks,
smcv
