I have pushed the above commit in a separate branch called "buster" in the repository so that we can get approval from the RT without the superfluous docs changes. I have opened an unblock request for this in #928092 and will upload the fix as it stands in salsa once it's approved. The debdiff lives in that unblock request as well. Rogério, fine with doing an NMU or do you want to go ahead with a maintainer upload?
