Bug#988462: trac: not ready for Debian 12

It probably comes to late for Debian 12. The state of trac in Debian is not very good anyway, e.g. all trac plugins are gone and need to be reintroduced. My plan is to wait for 1.6 and provide backports for the bookworm release cycle. Cheers

Sorry. I said: Therefore: Should not this bug (#1024647) be closed accordingly? I really meant *this* bug, #988462, i.e. "trac: not ready for Debian 12". (But while we are at it, the other bug is fixed but not closed and maybe it should be closed as well). Thanks.

Hello. I'm not a trac user myself, but I've noticed that trac has just been removed from testing today. AFAIK, the main reason trac was not ready for Debian 12 was the problems with python3, but those in theory have been fixed by version 1.5.4-1 (bug #1030413). Therefore: Should not this bug (#1024647) be closed accordingly? (If so, I guess you will also have to ask Release Managers for an exception so that trac enters testing again). Thanks.
