The modifications look good. But I do suspect you can safely remove
zlib1g, cramfsprogs, dash and initrd-tools from the list of packages,
as these are dependencies for the kernel image, and will be pulled in
automatically.

Hello debians,

first I would like to say, that you do
great work (it's neccessary to say this sometimes ;-).

Perhaps you are interested in some problems I had
with downloading the current non-us ISO image of
woody via win XP (:-P)

My jigdo-lite-settings.txt looks as
follows:
--
jigdo='http://non-us.cdimage.debian.org/jigdo-area/3.0_r0/jigdo/i386/woody-i386-1_NONUS.jigdo'debianMirror='http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/'nonusMirror='http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-non-US/'tmpDir='.'jigdoOpts='--cache
jigdo-file-cache.db'wgetOpts='--passive-ftp --dot-style=mega --continue
--non-verbose'scanMenu='E:\bin\jigdo-win-0.7.0a\'--

All was fine, but it wasn't possible to download
files located in

So jigdo told me that 39 files left to download. As
I looked in

but I didn't found the
    'package-developer'

directory. Also not in fr, us, dk, at, pl,
...

I asked google and found the missing items on

debianMirror='http://debian.2z.net/debian/'.

Now I have all files and I'm starting to burn the
CD :-)

OK, so long

Bug#208809: partition problem

Hi

You should install new kernel 2.4.22, and set first partition as swap(size
1.5GB). Without swap as first partition, linux will not boot on big harddisks.

I posted a set to Attilla Nagy about ten days ago, but they have not
arived.

If someone has a set of images, or knows where a set is, would they
contact Attila Nagy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> so they can be uploaded.

ftp.fsn.hu is the site that the GNU images were originally distributed
from.

I'm not sure exactly why it has taken so long to
recover, but a perusal of the Hurd mailing list
http://lists.debian.org/debian-hurd/
shows there is some activity on getting them out
again.

Keep an eye on the debian-hurd list, I guess.

There was a link posted a couple of weeks ago for
downloading with bittorrent, but it led to a 404. :-(

I would suggest you sign up on the Delhi Linux User Group, at
http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd
and ask there.

This list is for discussing how the CDs get made, there are no real CDs here

I posted a set to Attilla Nagy about ten days ago, but they have not
arived.

If someone has a set of images, or knows where a set is, would they
contact Attila Nagy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> so they can be uploaded.

ftp.fsn.hu is the site that the GNU images were originally distributed
from.
