All the links I checked have K-4 romoved. Is it even out > yet? Plus all the other ISO images are missing too cant even > find K1 or J1 J2. K4 came out six weeks ago http://lists.debian.org/debian-hurd/2003/debian-hurd-200307/msg00163.html but was a victim of the cracking of ftp.gnu.org. I'm not sure exactly why it has taken so long to recover, but a perusal of the Hurd mailing list http://lists.debian.org/debian-hurd/ shows there is some activity on getting them out again. > I Was off hurd for a while but now have found some free time on > my hands so subscribed to the mailing list today and am getting > impatient to get my hands on a installation media :) I'm in a similar position, and K4 sounded v good :-/ > Is jigdo the way to get the images? was this the right place to > ask? Keep an eye on the debian-hurd list, I guess. http://lists.debian.org/debian-hurd/2003/debian-hurd-200309/threads.html There was a link posted a couple of weeks ago for downloading with bittorrent, but it led to a 404. :-( Regards, - Richard -- Richard Smedley http://www.linuxuser.co.uk/ The GNU/Linux magazine for IT decision makers ``The public have an insatiable curiosity to know everything.
