Bug#505570: [RFA]: grisbi -- Personal finance manager
Package: wnpp Severity: normal This is a request for adoption to maintain Grisbi. I do not have time anymore to work on it. Stéphane Glondu and Roberto C. Sánchez seemed interested in maintaining it. I hereby request for whoever has time and motivation to adopt Grisbi in Debian as I know work upstream on it. Re: ok, i screwed up
Thomas Bushnell BSG [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: But since this is what you prefer I'll happily do this (as quoted above), and file a RC bug against grisbi to have it recompiled against the new library. It's easier for me to maintain anyway. If that hoses grisbi in such a way that the grisbi maintainer can't deal with the result, then we'll have to deal with the fallout then. As I said by private mail to Thomas, we are to release a new upstream version of Grisbi with support for both versions of libofx. So I can upload a new version at any time with either version enabled.

-- o Benjamin Drieu: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] o APRIL:http://www.april.org/ pgphr0LxGuz3S.pgp Description: PGP signature

Bug#223781: [RFA]: usemod-wiki -- Perl-based Wiki clone
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I no longer use usemod-wiki and thus have no time to maintain it. Package is in good shape, no serious bugs. Very few work is needed to maintain it as release cycle is quite long. The only one todo item is to package version 1.0, which requires some changes to the wiki database. Peter Gervai [EMAIL PROTECTED] has already made a package for this and is going to NMU usemod-wiki. But as he does not have time to adopt it, we need a new maintainer. I can provide my CVS repository for usemod-wiki upon request. Cheers, Benjamin -- .''`. ; ;' ; Debian GNU/Linux | Benjamin Drieu `. `'http://www.debian.org/ | [EMAIL PROTECTED] `- pgpMtrMqLxdQg.pgp Description: PGP signature

Re: No crc32 package in Debian?
Xavier Roche [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: I was looking for the very simple crc32 binary to compute checksums for files, and couldn't find it. There is a crc32 perl lib, but no crc32 package. I know that md5 (or even sha-160) hash fingerprints are better, but in many cases (like tar archives on tapes, or ftp files) you have only CRC-32. Doesn't cksfv does the job ? If it was not packaged by anyone (couldn't find any reference, but it might have been packaged with another one), and if everybody is okay, I will ITP it. Re: Bug#190302: Misusage of changelog!
Luca - De Whiskey's - De Vitis [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: I really don't see the point in this. Submitters always have a copy of their report, so they have evrything they need. New upstream closes: #1, #2, #3 implyes an update of the upstream changelog file so it's worth of checking: listing changes already documented would be redundant and not so helpful. Not all software has a detailed changelog. Most of the time, changelogs simply state add feature foo or various bugfixes. You cannot ask upstream authors to refer to debian bug numbers in their changelogs (one of mine does that, but he's neat), nor do describe all bugs they close. Moreover, this allow users to browse the BTS to seek for more information in case they see a description of the fix looking like a problem they encounter. Re: [VAC] 14 au 19 avril sur Paris. Keysigning ?
Why not ?
-- But what if you want to save without making a backup file, and you want Emacs to flash lights and play a nice tune at the same time?
-- The top section of each article is the head. (The rest is the body, but you may have guessed that already.) -- M-x info gnus
