This actually seems to still be the case. We were caught a bit off-guard
on this, when evolution-exchange uploaded with a renamed source just
skipped past NEW today :)

Bug#373571: ITP: mugshot -- Client for integration between Mugshot and the Linux desktop

2006-06-14 Thread Heikki Henriksen
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Heikki Henriksen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

  Package name: mugshot
  Version : 1.1.5
Upstream Author : Mugshot Developers (http://developer.mugshot.org/)
  URL : http://mugshot.org
License : GPL-2 & Mugshot Client License Agreement
  Programming Lang: C
Description : Client for integration between Mugshot and the Linux desktop

Mugshot is an open project to create a live social experience around
  entertainment. See http://mugshot.org
  .
Mugshot is currently in limited trial so most users won't have access
and the client will be useless to them.
  .
Right now, the Linux Mugshot client can:
   * display an icon in the status area with a menu to access active web
 shares and your home page
   * display pop up bubbles for incoming notifications
   * handle Mugshot chat rooms that the user opens from the browser
   * keeps track of your currently playing music (Rhythmbox only so far)

Note:
I don't plan to upload this until the trial has expanded
significantly or the project has been opened up for everyone.

The Mugshot Client License Agreement also puts restrictions on
distributing modified copies using the Mugshot trademark. I am currently
in dialogue with upstream to find a solution on this.

That depends on how long it'll be before we find a solution on the
current trademark-restrictions. 'upload' in my sentence implied
unstable, but I might put it in experimental first (if I find it
uploadable before the trial-period is over)

For now, my package can be found at:

Cheers :)
