Hey Henrique,

I would be very very graceful if you take them over. I can get you in
touch with all helpful upstreams MSXers, most of who I know personally.

Only binutils-z80 is somewhat related, and was the result of an effort
by Arnold Metselaar, a known Dutch MSX guy. I don't think anyone is
actually uses it for MSX work, although it has some "popcon".

GLEW is related in the sense that it is a build dependency of openMSX.

Camelot (python-camelot) is not related at all.

Thanks, Joost

2011-07-16 Thread Joost Yervante Damad
Hello,

I just orphaned openMSX and related packages:
openmsx, openmsx-catapult, openmsx-debugger, pasmo, cbios.

Anyone interested in taking over might want to look at them as a
cluster.

Greetings, Joost Damad

I intend to orphan this package in the near future (when it has

A this package provides a library that has quite some (51) reverse

want to take over.

2009-03-18 Thread Joost Yervante Damad
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-devel@lists.debian.org

The current maintainer (Frederic) is very busy, I helped out for some time,
but can't really give this quite big package the care it needs either lately.

The package already lives in collab-maint svn, it would be great if some more
people could help out.

Upstream is very helpful.

This package is involved in security updates regularly so some notions of
handling security issues and C are needed.

Thanks,

libglew1.4 / library transition

2007-06-17 Thread Joost Yervante Damad
Hi,

soon libglew 1.4 will be uploaded to unstable.

A few packages need to be updated for the update API/ABI:

arb ( Andreas Tille <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> )
rss-glx ( Ari Pollak <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> )
python-soya ( Marc Dequènes (Duck) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> )
openmsx (I will do this one)

The changes are very minimal and normally should only require a recompilation.

It will work with the BSD licensed cbios MSX BIOS ROMS.

I'm also in discussion to have some nice demos released with source under a
descent license (GPL or BSD) which will nicely showcase both my current
openMSX packages and this one.
