libgnomeprint error

2001-09-02 Thread safemode
I compile my own X so there are no debianisms in the X tree. Other than that
it's debian unstable.
Updated to the latest pkgs tonight and i recieved this error.
Are there seperate font packages for gnome needed? I do have all of the
xfonts installed.

Debian unstable tar incompatible with 1.13.x?

2001-01-08 Thread safemode
I have used tar with gzip and bzip2 in debian unstable and in each case
users who use older versions of tar ( like 1.13.11 ) were unable to
decompress it.

[49: huff+mtf rt+rld]data integrity (CRC) error in data

and such error messages like that . This troubles me greatly. Any info
about this?I'm using debian unstable's current tar and bzip2 and
gzip to make the tarballs.

  amen.

OK, if you can do that, I'm absolutely thrilled to do it, PLEASE make
debian-devel spam-free. But the problem is that you CAN'T. Because there's
too much of it. What are we going to do, kill everything with more than 2
exclamation marks? Come on, don't tell me you're _that_ naive.

He said deal with it and ignore it, not anything from your quote suggests that
he said something about stopping it.
