atftp patch

2006-03-29 Thread Michael Martinez

Might want to consider adding the following patch to the distribution:

http://atftplocalnet.sourceforge.net/

I wrote an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] don't know if that's the right
email for him.

Wouldn't but you gotta keep the copyright - unchanged - with it.
mean that it's not DFSG-free?

Looking at http://www.debian.org/social_contract#guidelines,
I don't see a conflict.

but you gotta keep the copyright - unchanged - with it is just a
paraphrase of the BSD license.

The right place for requests concerning packages is the BTS, you might
want to file a 'wishlist' bug on the aftp package. (Preferably using
the reportbug program.) This ensures your request doesn't get lost.

Your patch looks interesting; the usual way to contact the maintainers
of a specific package is to email [EMAIL PROTECTED] - I'm
CC'ing them - or use our bug database, http://bugs.debian.org/. (That
site lets you browse the database and includes instructions for
submitting a bug via email.)

Thanks,
