Description : Binding to the GNOME Virtual File System library

This package provides a library for the Haskell programming language.
See http://www.haskell.org/ for more information on Haskell.
 .
GNOME VFS is the GNOME virtual file system. It is the foundation of the
Nautilus file manager. It provides a modular architecture and ships with
several modules that implement support for local files, http, ftp and
others. It provides an URI-based API, a backend supporting asynchronous file
operations, a MIME type manipulation library and other features.

It's my understanding that gnome-vfs is deprecated upstream and is going
away. Most GNOME components no longer use it or include support for it.
Do you really want to package a binding for unsupported software?

This is a good point. But I'm not going to introduce this package in Debian.
The new version of gtk2hs split the source package in a lot of source packages,
so I'm filling ITPs to new source packages, but the binary packages are the
same. Therefore, I'm only updating the version of the binary package.

Greetings.

Indeed. GVFS has replaced GnomeVFS in the GNOME platform.

Doesn't seem necessary to file ITP bugs in such a case...
