I really don't know where I should be posting this, or to which package I should file a bug report. I just hope this will be of use to somebody.
I got this messages dist-upgrading a sparc *and* a i386 from potato to testing (more or less the same messages): ------------------------------------------------ Configuring packages ... Use of uninitialized value at /usr/lib/perl5/Debian/DebConf/ConfModule.pm line 118, <GEN50> chunk 3. Selecting previously deselected package libperl5.6. (after more installation messages and another apt-get dist-upgrade) Use of uninitialized value at /usr/lib/perl5/Debian/DebConf/ConfModule.pm line 118, <GEN139> chunk 3. Reading Package Lists... Building Dependency Tree... You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these. Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies: g++-2.95: Depends: libstdc++2.10-dev (>= 1:2.95.4) but 1:2.95.2-13 is installed libc6-dev: Depends: libc6 (= 2.1.3-18) but 2.2.2-4 is installed E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f. ------------------------------------------------ There were lots of others. Everything is working now, so I *think* the upgrade did not break anything. Eduardo.
