packages to give away
Hello fellow developers! I have the following two packages to give away: netris - A free, networked version of T*tris two outstanding bugs, one about missing manpages, the other about a problem with the sample robot... there hasn't been an upstream version for years. It should probably be recompiled with ncurses4, so if you want to take it over, just upload a new version, and drop me a note :) hugs - A Haskell interpreter no outstanding bugs, there should be a new upstream version coming alog with a dfsg free licence, so it should be moved to main then The reason for giving them away: I don't use them. Both are small packages, easy to maintain, the hugs source package builds a separate hugs-doc binary. Packages to give away
I will change jobs October 1st and I'm afraid I won't have enough time anymore to do as much work for Debian as I do now. Since I will keep an internet account I won't be lost, though. Aynway, with this lack of time I have to give away a lot of my packages. They are all in a pretty good state. In fact there's only one outstanding bug report and I'm currently compiling a new upload to close that one. Here's my list of packages again. I have to get rid of them as I approach my first day in a new job. If I still have the time to take care of it while working for the new job, I might take them back. Also I think I'll be able to take care of one or two but not seven. I don't really "want" them (I also don't know much about X internals and I'm writing on my diploma thesis, which reduces my available time very much), but I regularly use xfig, so I could take this over, if nobody else volunteers. But I cannot promise to close all bug reports in the next days. I had a look at the list and there are some, which can be closed or simply fixed, but there are many others, which aren't trivial to reproduce or which should be forwarded to the upstream author (after checking, that they aren't fixed already by the actual upstream versions).
