Re: Mirror of Incoming

1998-04-24 Thread Yann Dirson
There's one here:

ftp://ftp.lh.umu.se/pub/linux/debian-Incoming

Maybe some list of such mirrors could be added to the Developper's
Corner ?

Added.

from developers_corner.html:
LIThere are a number of A HREF=devel/incoming_mirrors.htmlmirrors of
Debian's Incoming
directory/A

I am working on reorganizing the Developers corner to make it easier for people
to find
things.

I will upload the guile packages to my WWW site... (It's just
started now, at 33.6, and I expect it to take an hour or so to update
the directory.)

 http://www.inetarena.com/~karlheg/Public/Debian/

If I go over quota, I may have to remove the directory and not keep
the packages there. I cannot afford more disk space at the ISP right
now.

since it is so very much easier to just get it all out of Incoming and
master is just quite ahead of the rest of the world, you don't have to wait
those many days until your local mirror gets it all, uc?

AFAIK, there is an incoming mirror in Germany at

ftp://os.inf.tu-dresden.de/pub/debian-incoming

I'm not sure if it's still set up, though.

Cheers,

Chris
