Oops, never mind. I see now in the policy manual:
Packages MUST NOT use virtual package names (except privately, amongst
   a cooperating group of packages)

This virtual package name is only used by the single source package.

Re: Request for package: swatch

1999-05-25 Thread Atsuhito Kohda
So I wish some member will make Debian package of swatch-3.0b1 replacing
my old swatch package of Debian JP.

I forgot important informations. swatch-3.0b1 can be found in

ftp://ftp.stanford.edu/general/security-tools/swatch

and it is written as follows in COPYRIGHT:

swatch: The Simple WATCHdog

I'd love to see it split in a free (no IDEA, RC6? and possibly others) and a
full version.

Last time I checked, the upstream version didn't produce shared libraries.
It should probably be modified to do so, and such changes should be
integrated upstream (to prevent .so version issues).

This would make it suitable for the main branch. However, as

 during June.
There is a free mysql client in main and the GPL'ed server will follow

package that as well I'ld be really happy :)

I can't resolve that domain. Are you sure of the URL?
