pmount-hal hald and acl for storage media

2006-06-20 Thread Johannes Zellner

Hello,

shouldn't pmount-hal hald respect something like

   merge key=volume.policy.mount_option.acl type=booltrue/merge
or
   merge key=storage.policy.mount_option.acl type=booltrue/merge

for removable storage devices for example?
I'm not sure which would be the correct one. Anyway, apparently there's
currently no way to get removable devices with acl mounted by hald.

Any comments?

I think the debian setup requires the user calling pmount to be in
the plugdev group.
