zlib1g/zlib1g-dev mismatch on caballero/sarti builders ?
Hi folks, I have (in the httrack source package) a build-depends containing zlib1g, zlib1g-dev - is there anything wrong with this dependency ? Some builders seems to have troubles: http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?pkg=httrackver=3.40.1-1arch=ia64stamp=1137978811file=logas=raw http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?pkg=httrackver=3.40.1-1arch=hppastamp=1137979475file=logas=raw Extract from logs: .. Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: zlib1g-dev: Depends: zlib1g (= 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2) but 1:1.2.3-9 is to be installed E: Broken packages apt-get failed. Yes, you should not be build-depending on zlib1g. Some builders seems to have troubles: http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?pkg=httrackver=3.40.1-1arch=ia64stamp=1137978811file=logas=raw http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?pkg=httrackver=3.40.1-1arch=hppastamp=1137979475file=logas=raw This isn't actually caused by the bug in your build-dependencies, though; it's some strange problem on the buildds themselves. I've asked the buildd maintainer about it already, but he's not been on IRC much over the weekend -- hopefully he'll be able to look at it tomorrow and figure out why the unstable buildds are asking for sarge versions of packages. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
