Re: debian-edu LDAP tree
Hi Alejandro, Oh sorry... I forgot to send you an LDAP tree. You obviously got that from someonw else... By experience some apps/libs search for (tjener,,), some search for (tjener.intern,,). Petter reports the same behaviour and proposed to create duplicate entries... So basically, the first option. Sorry. Maybe that should be configurable somewhere (for non-DebianEdu scenarios)? Re: debian-edu LDAP tree
Ok, I can get the domain from the list of zones, usign a list of domains, or getting the record of the DNS stuff in ldap, for example: zoneName: intern relativeDomainName: tjener for tjener.intern. But I have a question now, Do you need two nisNetgroupTriple attributes for each host? I mean a (tjener,,) and a (tjener.intern,,) or only (tjener.intern,,) The first option force me to do a lot of changes in the code. Cheers 2011/6/15 Andreas B. [Bug 1471] New: (german) gosa help links to not existing directories
http://bugs.skolelinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1471 Summary: (german) gosa help links to not existing directories Product: Skolelinux Version: squeeze Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: Documentation AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org ReportedBy: li...@weisser-ol.de After installation from DebianEdu/Skolelinux netinstall-cd 20110612 and aptitude update/safe-upgrade i find gosa-help points to non-existing directories: e.g. when in "Systeme" (sorry, i have the german installation) help says "Helpdir '../doc/core/de/html/systems/' is not accessible, can't read any helpfiles. " (btw.: shouldn't it be accessable? ;-). When i # cd /usr/share/gosa/doc/core/de/html # ln -s ../../../plugins/systems/help/de/html/systems i can access the helpfiles. I'll try this procedure for every missing help i find and then report. regards Frank -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.skolelinux.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. remaining errors testsuite
Hi, I tried to find the reason for the remaining errors reported by the testsuite (Terminalserver DVD installation): error: can not find SSL certificate for http://www, error: Unable to download http://ftp.skolelinux.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/netboot.tar.gz, error: ./webserver: Missing /etc/iceweasel/profile/cert_override.txt. I found that one if not the only reason for these errors is, that within the installer, there is no DNS available. The network is available, but hostnames cannot be resolved. I tried to understand why, but /etc/resolv.conf and /target/etc/resolv.conf are rather confusing, a broken link that starts working when rebooting after installation (?!?) and so on. Does anybody have more clue on how the network is managed in the installer? It would be great to fix these remaining errors even if they are not fatal. Any help appreciated, bests regards, Andi -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-edu-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
