reassign 339981 evms severity 339981 serious retitle 339981 FTBFS on mips(el) thanks On Sat, Dec 17, 2005 at 06:32:46PM -0500, Daniel Jacobowitz wrote: > Do not use from userspace; it is not portably usable > from userspace. In that case, I'll just remove it; it _looks_ like it can be removed (I can't find any _bit functions being called) in there, so I'll just try that. /* Steinar */ -- Homepage: http://www.sesse.net/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". It's been almost a month; what's the hold-up? The holdup is a shortage of glibc maintainers, obviously. This is a bug in your package: In file included from /usr/include/asm/bitops.h:16, from md_super.c:33: Do not use from userspace; it is not portably usable from userspace. The MIPS headers are a perfect example of why not; in several cases the MIPS bitops call local_irq_save. -- Daniel Jacobowitz CodeSourcery, LLC -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". glibc override disparity
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the override file for the following file(s): libc6-sparc64_2.3.5-9_sparc.deb: package says priority is required, override says standard. If you feel the override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why. Not even "/lib64/libc.so.6 --version" will work, it will fail because the dynamic linker doesn't understand the TLS relocations present in the /libc64/libc.so.64 binary.
