Bug#379444: libc6-xen: please provide version for amd64

2006-07-23 Thread Alec Berryman
Package: libc6-xen

Debian offers a Xen hypervisor for amd64; it would be great if
libc6-xen was also built for that platform.

A specific version of libc6 for xen is only needed for i386. For amd64,
please use the default version of the libc6.

Closing the bug.

Bug#379329: Maybe completely a perl problem?

2006-07-23 Thread Helge Kreutzmann
Hello,
I continued programming on my perl programm (at least I tried) and now
I think that perl might have some sever problems with LC_NUMERIC.
Please read #379463 for details.

Please tell me how I can figure out in a clean way how the decimal
point is set in my locale. If that indeed turns out to be ,, then
this bug should be merged with #379463.

Greetings

   Helge
