 Ok Pierre.

 But it is not

 glibc*/debian/patches/series

 it is

 glibc-2.7/build-tree/glibc-2.7/patches/series

i386. Building packages to emdebian i386

 Step by step

 debootstrap sid /path/to/dir
 copy networking files
 mount proc /path/to/dir/proc -t proc
 LANG=C chroot /path/to/dir

 emsource -v glibc
 debuild

 Applying patches.. failed
 check patch-log

Some files, one or two were mising in hurd-i386, so I
removed these hurd-i386 from series file and

 Applying patches.. success

Sorry, I do not have the glib-2.7 dir with the
source code. Space problems.

Bug#492892: glibc: glibc-2.7/patches/hurd-i386 patches fails

2008-07-29 Thread Herbert P Fortes Neto
Package: glibc
Severity: serious
Justification: no longer builds from source

Today the compile failed to apply the patches. The
problem was solved when I removed

/build-tree/glibc-2.7/patches/hurd-i386/*patch entries

from build-tree/glibc-2.7/patches/series

The problem is at the patch-files from the original
source.
