Package: nscd Version: 2.17-1 Severity: normal When I resume my notebook (from s2ram), NetworkManager tries to re-establish wifi connections.
I noticed that (since upgrading to the new testing) this takes _much_ longer than before; looking around a bit shows that NetworkManager calls "/usr/sbin/nscd -i hosts"; this waits on (the only) socket 3, which I guess is connected to nscd. This makes knetwork etc. hang, too. Restarting nscd seems to hang, too; killing and starting again helps. Perhaps this is related to 592850 or 550840?
