Re: util-linux' fdisk broken
Hey Samuel, Quoting Samuel Thibault (2014-11-09 02:23:13) It seems the latest util-linux' fdisk tool is broken on hurd-i386, it's not able to read partition tables. I saw fdisk failing too, but for me it works fine again: # fdisk -l /dev/hd0 Disk /dev/hd0: 10 GiB, 10737418240 bytes, 20971520 sectors Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disklabel type: dos Disk identifier: 0x00072bf0 Device BootStart End Sectors Size Id Type /dev/hd0p1 *2048 20013055 20011008 9.6G 83 Linux /dev/hd0p2 20015102 20969471 954370 466M 5 Extended /dev/hd0p5 20015104 20969471 954368 466M 82 Linux swap / Solaris Justus -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-hurd-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Building glibc-2.19-14~0 with fakeroot-hurd/fakreoot-tcp
Hi, Previously glibc-2.19-* built fine with fakeroot-hurd (no testsuite), but the latest version does not: glibc-2.19-14~0: dh_install -plocales-all cp: cannot create symbolic link ‘debian/locales-all//usr/lib/locale/es_PA/LC_NUMERIC’: Device or resource busy dh_install: cp -a ./build-tree/locales-all/usr/lib/locale/es_PA debian/locales-all//usr/lib/locale/ returned exit code 1 Switching back to fakeroot-tcp to build locales, hangs at dh_strip -plibc0.3-dev -Xlibpthread; as before.
