The problem is that quotas are not working.
I was trying to setup up 20M limits for everyone at the kernel level. I
was also trying to setup 20M limits at the application (courier) level.

There's a patch for postfix's virtual delivery agent, otherwise you can't
use quotas with maildirs .. ** I think so **

I've reported qwest.net to them and don't see any point with
kornet.net as I've never had a reply from any of my umpteen spam
reports to them. However, made me wonder if there was a service like
abuse.net/spamcop that one can send the traces of such attempts to so
that the sending IPs get reported and rbled if the volume goes up
 enough.

What's the point in having an RBL of sites trying to abuse open relays? If a
machine is correctly configured it won't allow relaying so this isn't needed.
If a machine is broken enough to allow relaying then it probably doesn't have
RBL support.

Network Question

2002-05-04 Thread Paul

Hi all

I have a problem which may be on my
end.

I have a DSL connection with 32 IP's
I want to assign a domain its own IP for
ssl

This is what I have done in the network file.
IP's are just an example

/sbin/ifconfig eth1 210.16.240.134 broadcast
210.16.240.164 netmask 255.255.255.224

/sbin/ifconfig eth1:1 210.16.240.160 netmask
255.255.255.224 broadcast 210.16.240.164

My problem is I cannot ping 210.16.240.160 from the
outside world, it does work locally.

Any help will be appreciated.

Cheers
Paul
