SWAT and setting up new share
I'm trying to setup samba to share ALL the home directories so I can backup them on my NT server with a tape drive. Using swat I'm unable to setup a new share for all the home directories. Swat will not allow me the change the default path. I tried changing the security settings from USER to SHARE and restarted smbd but the settings didn't take. Andrew P. maximum number of virtual sites
I'm running Apache 1.3.9, currently the box has 183 websites on one IP. I'm planning to add another 200. Is there any limit to the number of virtual websites that can run from a single IP address. Can someone give me a hint on what should I buy for using with a 2.2 kernel? I need two simultaneous cards, they're for my webserver. Are the 3COM a good choice? paniclog: Read-only file system
I noticed on my two debian boxes the following message: sendmail 08/06/2001 10:23:03: mailer error cannot open /var/log/smail/paniclog: Read-only file system The odd thing is that both computers are able to send mail. Only one computer has paniclog but it lives on /var/log/exim. I send very little mail from these machines, maybe one email a week. Andrew P.
