Outlook and Qmail
I am having a problem with one of my customers who is using Outlook 2000 SP-3 to connect to our Qmail server. When downloading messages from his POP account, Outlook will hang. It is most likely a corrupted message, since he can delete the messages using a webmail interface, and then continue to download messages. He has been using McAfee's SpamKiller, but now, even when he turns it off he has the same problem. He has even deleted his account and recreated it (this is a virtual domain, so he can login as Postmaster and do that). Has anyone run into this problem? I know at least one other ISP having the same problem with some of his customers, but we have not found a solution yet. Any pointers will be appreciated. mrtg problem
I was setting up MRTG on a Debian box and everything was proceeding well for almost a day. However, now one of the routers appears to be giving a problem. I get this: SNMP Error: Received SNMP response with error code error status: noSuchName index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1797) SNMPv1_Session (remote host: w.x.y.z [216.136.13.254].161) community: xyz request ID: 1235825153 PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes timeout: 2s retries: 5 backoff: 1) at /usr/lib/perl5/SNMP_util.pm line 456 SNMPGET Problem for ifInOctets.1797 ifOutOctets.1797 sysUptime sysName on [EMAIL PROTECTED]: at /usr/bin/mrtg line 1496 WARNING: Expected a number but got '' WARNING: Expected a number but got '' This router was responding fine, like I said for almost an entire day. Any ideas what is causing this and how I can fix it? Thanx, Anil Gupte -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

New to list
Hi all! I am newbie to Linux, and decide to throw my lot in with Debian. I always learned by asking questions, so I hope you won't mind newbie questions here. We are a small ISP in Milwaukee and Chicago, been around for about 5 years, mostly Windows and Cisco. Any pointers, web sites, books etc. will be appreciated. I already have Debian GNU/Linux 2.1 Unleashed, and a couple of machines someone installed for me that I am putzing with. One runs a couple of web sites, the other one is a toy. Cheers!
