Access Concentrator for PPPoE
Does anyone knows a GPL`ed access concentrator for debian GNU Linux I`ve seen the comercial server of rp-pppoe and it`s interesting , but controls too much what i can or cannot do.I wantende sth to implement on a running debian system so i can control my wireless user in the ISP. I`m havin a problem with icecast ,does anybody knows if lieice have any problem running ? I have already configured my soundboard and icecast does make streams of no-live ice with shout. but liveice simple does not send anything to the server. Traffic control with traffic shaper
Do anyone know how can i control bandwidth with Traffic Shaper, the machine that will be use is too old to use CBQ,i need to do the job with traffic shaper. First off all thanks about the answer, i didn`t know about portslave, actuacly now that i have the program instaled(via apt) , well now i have two problems : 1 - Where can i find documentation about configuring portslave? I`m some lost about it and can`t imagine how to do that( i`ve tried to work on the samples that came along with the program but didn`t get that to really work). 2 - This is not very important , i have downloaded the source of the program from sourcefourge but i can`t compile because of ppp , well where can i find the pppd source so i can compile it ??? Problems with radiusclient
I have configured my radiusclient and put in a line on radiusclient.conf like that authserver the ip of my radius server. The port is the standart one, on the server everything works fine (it authenticate conections for two cyclades wich came preconfigurated) bu my new client simple doesn`t send any authentaication to the server, well the question is, where can i find documentation to configure the radiusclient Does anyone know how can i do that? May i use shaper control to configure the max bandwidth each user on a system con access? If not , wich program may i use for that??
