Hi Emmanuel,

It was the openjpa project. The Debian package currently uses Ant to
build but the source code itself uses Maven. I'm trying to package the
latest upstream release, so I was experimenting with using Maven to
build it instead. Any pointers you could provide would be extremely
helpful.

OpenJDK6 is obsolete and OpenJDK8 not yet released.


Even if that's true, it's an answer to the question "why should we 
switch", which isn't what Julien asked.


As per https://wiki.debian.org/ReleaseGoals/, release goals should:

"Affect more than just one set of packages (eg: not just a package 
transition) "
