Re: Packaging fest-swing and its dependencies

  Hi,

the Debian Med team is packaging spread-phy[1]. Since the latest
upgrade a new dependency fest-swing[2] is needed. I realised that
fest-swing in turn needs fest-reflect[3] and commited my try to package
this to pkg-java Git[4]. Unfortunately it does not build. My attempt
to create the package simply based on the example of fest-assert since I
had trouble with mh_make which I was not able to work around.

Any help to get this package building would be welcome.

Hi Andreas. I packaged up fest-assert so I can take a look at fest-swing
 (and the other build depends).

I realised that the needed dependencies for fest-swing[1] seem to exist
thanks to your work. However, if I try to build the package I run into

...
[INFO]
[ERROR] BUILD ERROR
[INFO]
[INFO] Failed to resolve artifact.

Missing:
--
1) org.jsr-305:jsr305:jar:debian

Try downloading the file manually from the project website.

Then, install it using the command:
  mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=org.jsr-305 -DartifactId=jsr305
-Dversion=debian -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/path/to/file
...

I verified that libjsr305-java is in Build-Depends but I have no idea how
to cope with this.

Any ideas?

Kind regards

  Andreas.

Re: NoClassDefFoundError although jar is in classpath

2015-07-02 Thread Felix Natter
hello Andrew,

thanks for the suggestion. I tried relative paths but see the same
issue.

However, I noticed the current version 1.8 of triplea uses insubstantial
7.3 and so:
@Scott, would you consider upgrading triplea to 1.8 together with the
upload of insubstantial 7.3?

Thanks and Best Regards,

RFS: jffi 1.2.7-4

2015-07-02 Thread Jakub Adam
Dear Java packagers,

I am looking for a sponsor for package jffi.

It builds these binary packages:

libjffi-java - Java Foreign Function Interface
libjffi-java-jni - Java Foreign Function Interface (JNI library)

The source code can be found in master branch at pkg-java git repository:

 http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-java/jffi.git

This version re-enables OSGi metadata generation that has been lost during
some previous package update and broke eclipse-pydev.

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package into sid for me.

Regards,

Jakub

Dear Java packagers,

I am looking for a sponsor for package jnr-constants.

It builds these binary packages:

libjnr-constants-java - platform constants for Java
libjnr-constants-java-doc - platform constants for Java - API documentation
  libconstantine-java - transitional dummy package for libconstantine-java
libconstantine-java-doc - transitional dummy package for
libconstantine-java-doc

The source code can be found in master branch at pkg-java git repository:

  http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-java/jnr-constants.git

This version adds OSGi metadata to library JAR's manifest in order to be
possible
to use it as a new dependency of eclipse-pydev.

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package into sid for me.

Regards,

Jakub
