Games/Fonts/Other settings
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hey Folks, I don't know how this mail will appear to you all, but to me it's in some god-awful font, that I'm really very very unimpressed with. :--) Anyhow, just did the apt-get update/grade and found a massive amount of 'stuff' changed in KDE. Fonts are 'different' now. And I can't find my good-ole Times NewRoman anywhere. Or Ariel. What am I missing? What happened to the games? kmahjongg is gone as are all the rest. Really strange! The OTHER SETTINGS I'll ask about on a later date. But the font/game business is my greatest concern. - -- __ OutCast Computer Consultants of Central Oregon http://outcast-consultants.redmond.or.us [EMAIL PROTECTED] (541) 504-1388 Via IRC at; 205.227.115.251:6667:#OutCasts Via ICQ: UIN 138930 "Failure is not an option...it's bundled with Microsoft" -anonymous- Hi! Take a look at /usr/share/config/kdm instead (this might have become /etc/kde2/kdm - I am not using .debs but built from source), and in particular the new kdmrc file. -- Alan - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.chandlerfamily.org.uk
Re: Konqueror crash
This only happens for me if I'm using Mosfet's High Performance Liquid or MegaGradient styles - it's something with the transparent menu code. Secure connections w/ konq and kde2.2
Is anyone else having this problem: after upgrading to kde2.2, konq is unable to connect to secure sites. It worked fine in 2.1, did I miss a discussion maybe? Thanks, Joe Schlecht
Konqueror crash
Hi, Konqueror crashes for me if I try to open a bookmark subfolder which has more bookmarks than fit in a single column. This worked just fine with KDE 2.1.2. Can anyone confirm? Ciao...

kdm won't start
Hi, after I upgraded to x4.1.0, kde2 wouldn't start anymore. I found out, that some files had moved to other directorys and got 'startx' working. But kdm still isn't working. I then looked through the files located in /usr/X11/kdm but couldn't find an error there (well, no obvious error). Running kdm with the -debug option results in the attached entry in /var/log/daemon.log. Unfortunately, as I have no log of an working kdm here, I can't see an error there, except two things: the file xdm-keys is not present on the System the authdir directory is empty. Anyone an idea?
