Re: kdebindings 3.0.2

2002-07-21 Thread Xavier ALLAMIGEON
Thank you, but I already use gcc-2.95.4, so... But I'm going to try with a
Suse RPM, maybe it will work. Otherwise, Google gives no interesting
answers... Thanks for your help Ignacio !

Thanks, but the ESware package is empty ! Another idea ?

Oops!... i don't know why is empty...

You need to find the deb package, ¿no?. So you can try to look it in
Google... because i don't know where you can find it, sorry... :-(

 Try in http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~pc99/debian/kde3.html

Is possible that compilation of your kdebindings crash because you are
using gcc-3... if is the case, try with gcc-2.95.4

 Regards,
 Ignacio.

Sure, but it gives some errors at the compilation. I can manually
make the jar files, but I need the librarires libqtjava.so and
libkdejava.so. That's why I am looking for a package. Do you know
where I can download these libraries ? Thanks for your help !

Xavier

Some people says that ESware packages are very good, but i don't try it
(i make KDE from sources). Have a look in
   ftp://ftp.esware.com/pub/update.

Oh!, and is better that you send the reply to the list, because it will
   be usefull for anyone here.

   Regards,
   Ignacio.

 Hi!

Where can I found Java bindings for KDE and QT ? There are not
included in the unofficial package kdebindings3.0.2. Thanks for
  all !

You can download the source code of kdebindings-3.0.2 and compile
 the directories kdebindings-3.0.2/qtjava and
kdebindings-3.0.2/kdejava. It should make the jar files you need
 (qtjava.jar and koala.jar).

 Regards,
 Ignacio.

OK, but if the SUSE RPM don't solve the problem, then you can post your
compile problem in [EMAIL PROTECTED] or, if you prefer, try to post this
problem in this list, because there are many hackers in the net that can help
you ;-)

Regards, and good luck...
Ignacio.
