good to know, thanks for the feedback.

There's an ongoing Qt 5 transition so I won't upload to unstable just now to
avoid it and the Plasma transition stepping onto each other's toes.

I seem to have run into an issue:

Ah, yes.

# aptitude install kdepim-addons libkpimitinerary5 -t experimental
The following NEW packages will be installed:
   kdepim-addons libkpimitinerary-data{a} libkpimitinerary5{b}
libkpimpkpass5{a} libphonenumber8{a}
0 packages upgraded, 5 newly installed, 0 to remove and 176 not upgraded.
Need to get 2,690 kB of archives. After unpacking 13.9 MB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libkpimitinerary5 : Depends: qtdeclarative-abi-5-15-2 which is a virtual
package, provided by:
   - libqt5qml5 (5.15.2+dfsg-10), but 5.15.4+dfsg-3
is installed
   - libqt5qml5 (5.15.2+dfsg-6), but 5.15.4+dfsg-3
is installed

PIM 22.04.x in experimental was built before the Qt transition so it
still has the dependencies on Qt 5.15.2, so right now you kind of have
to fallback to PIM 21.12.x from unstable which has been rebuilt with the
new Qt.

@Patrick I don’t know what your plans are for PIM but would you mind
rebuilding the experimental version against Qt 5.15.4 ?

Thanks !

Which matches the quote above AFAICS.
I guess Luc being able to install it was either an already closed
possibility or it worked because of a smaller set of installed packages.

The ones in experimental, including libkpimitinerary5 in your error
output, need old Qt but you have new Qt from sid already installed.

I seem to have run into an issue:
# aptitude install kdepim-addons libkpimitinerary5 -t experimental
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  kdepim-addons libkpimitinerary-data{a} libkpimitinerary5{b}
libkpimpkpass5{a} libphonenumber8{a}
0 packages upgraded, 5 newly installed, 0 to remove and 176 not upgraded.

 libkpimitinerary5 : Depends: qtdeclarative-abi-5-15-2 which is a virtual
package, provided by:
  - libqt5qml5 (5.15.2+dfsg-10), but 5.15.4+dfsg-3
is installed
  - libqt5qml5 (5.15.2+dfsg-6), but 5.15.4+dfsg-3
is installed

The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

 Keep the following packages at their current version:
1) kdepim-addons [Not Installed]
2) libkpimitinerary5 [Not Installed]

In a prior upgrade step, I removed those packages, assuming I'd be able to
install them later, but it looks like some/most packages are compiled against
qtdeclarative-abi-5-15-4, but others against qtdeclarative-abi-5-15-2 ?

Package: kontact

Severity: important

I'm filing it against kontact, but kmail is maybe more appropriate.
However with kontact I could generate a stacktrace, which failed with
kmail, so therefor I chose kontact. Feel free to reassign.

In 'Local Folder' I have a Mail-Achive folder with 2 subfolders
for 2 of my mail accounts.
Earlier today I moved a bunch of mails from my (IMAP) account to the
corresponding Mail-Archive folder and that seems to went fine.
When you right-click on a folder, you can choose 'Archive Folder...' to
make an export of that folder to a .tar.bz2 file and I use that for
backup purposes. It starts the process (no idea where the/a temp file is
created though) and then at some point it crashes.

Bug#1013027: qtwebkit-opensource-src: ftbfs with GCC-12

2022-06-16 Thread Matthias Klose
Package: src:qtwebkit-opensource-src
Version: 5.212.0~alpha4-16
Severity: normal
Tags: sid bookworm
User: debian-...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: ftbfs-gcc-12

[This bug is targeted to the upcoming bookworm release]

Please keep this issue open in the bug tracker for the package it
was filed for. If a fix in another package is required, please
file a bug for the other package (or clone), and add a block in this
package. Please keep the issue open until the package can be built in
a follow-up test rebuild.

The package fails to build in a test rebuild on at least amd64 with
gcc-12/g++-12, but succeeds to build with gcc-11/g++-11. The
severity of this report will be raised before the bookworm release.

The full build log can be found at:
http://qa-logs.debian.net/2022/06/09/gcc12/qtwebkit-opensource-src_5.212.0~alpha4-16_unstable_gcc12.log
The last lines of the build log are at the end of this report.

To build with GCC 11, either set CC=gcc-11 CXX=g++-11 explicitly,
or install the gcc, g++, gfortran, ... packages from experimental.

  apt-get -t=experimental install g++

Common build failures are new warnings resulting in build failures with
-Werror turned on, or new/dropped symbols in Debian symbols files.
For other C/C++ related build failures see the porting guide at
http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-11/porting_to.html

GCC 11 defaults to the GNU++17 standard. If your package installs
header files in /usr/include, please don't work around C++17 issues
by choosing a lower C++ standard for the package build, but fix these
issues to build with the C++17 standard.

The full build log can be found at:
http://qa-logs.debian.net/2022/06/09/gcc12/qtdeclarative-opensource-src_5.15.2+dfsg-10_unstable_gcc12.log
The last lines of the build log are at the end of this report.

To build with GCC 11, either set CC=gcc-11 CXX=g++-11 explicitly,
or install the gcc, g++, gfortran, ... packages from experimental.

  apt-get -t=experimental install g++

Bug#1012980: libkf5libkleo: ftbfs with GCC-12

2022-06-16 Thread Matthias Klose
Package: src:libkf5libkleo
Version: 4:21.12.3-2
Severity: normal
Tags: sid bookworm
User: debian-...@lists.debian.org

[This bug is targeted to the upcoming bookworm release]

Please keep this issue open in the bug tracker for the package it
was filed for. If a fix in another package is required, please
file a bug for the other package (or clone), and add a block in this
package. Please keep the issue open until the package can be built in
a follow-up test rebuild.

The package fails to build in a test rebuild on at least amd64 with
gcc-12/g++-12, but succeeds to build with gcc-11/g++-11. The
severity of this report will be raised before the bookworm release.

The full build log can be found at:
http://qa-logs.debian.net/2022/06/09/gcc12/libkf5libkleo_21.12.3-2_unstable_gcc12.log
The last lines of the build log are at the end of this report.

To build with GCC 11, either set CC=gcc-11 CXX=g++-11 explicitly,
or install the gcc, g++, gfortran, ... packages from experimental.

  apt-get -t=experimental install g++

Bug#1012962: kseexpr: ftbfs with GCC-12

2022-06-16 Thread Matthias Klose
Package: src:kseexpr
Version: 4.0.4.0-2

The full build log can be found at:
http://qa-logs.debian.net/2022/06/09/gcc12/kseexpr_4.0.4.0-2_unstable_gcc12.log
The last lines of the build log are at the end of this report.

To build with GCC 11, either set CC=gcc-11 CXX=g++-11 explicitly,
or install the gcc, g++, gfortran, ... packages from experimental.

  apt-get -t=experimental install g++

Bug#1012955: kactivities-kf5: ftbfs with GCC-12

2022-06-16 Thread Matthias Klose
Package: src:kactivities-kf5
Version: 5.94.0-1

The full build log can be found at:
http://qa-logs.debian.net/2022/06/09/gcc12/kactivities-kf5_5.94.0-1_unstable_gcc12.log
The last lines of the build log are at the end of this report.

To build with GCC 11, either set CC=gcc-11 CXX=g++-11 explicitly,
or install the gcc, g++, gfortran, ... packages from experimental.

  apt-get -t=experimental install g++

Bug#1010576: akonadi cannot kill mysql due to apparmor rules

2022-06-16 Thread Stefan Fritsch

Hi,

I have the problem that after suspend/resume, if I shut down the system,
systemd complains that mysql does not die. I have wondered, why akonadi
does not kill mysql and it is because of akonadi's apparmor rules:

Jun 16 11:24:45 k kernel: [ 4096.077336] audit: type=1400
audit(1655371485.959:102): apparmor="DENIED" operation="signal"
profile="/usr/bin/akonadiserver" pid=16671 comm="akonadiserver"
requested_mask="send" denied_mask="send" signal=term peer="unconfined"
Jun 16 11:24:48 k kernel: [ 4099.080389] audit: type=1400
audit(1655371488.963:103): apparmor="DENIED" operation="signal"
profile="/usr/bin/akonadiserver" pid=16671 comm="akonadiserver"
requested_mask="send" denied_mask="send" signal=kill peer="unconfined"

If I set akonadi's profile to complain instead of enforce, akonadi can
kill mysql ok:

sudo aa-complain /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.akonadiserver
sudo systemctl reload apparmor.service

Somehow mysql should be running in the mysqld_akonadi profile but it is
running in fact unconstrained and therefore akonadiserver is not allowed
to send a signal to it. Don't know how to fix that, though.

I suspect the fact that mysql hangs after suspend/resume is a different
bug in mysql.

Cheers,
Stefan
