Maybe this could help: In the Kcontrolcenter under Systemmanagement (hope
the translation is correct, as I have a German KDE here) > Loginmanager,
there you find the point "shutdown". There you can set options for who is
aloud to shutdown your PC.

Hope that this helps.

Someone else recommended using XRender and that solved the troubles with
the menus to get blured. But in Konqueror's icon view still the same
problem.

I'm using a Laptop with an SIS graphic chip here. So it seemed to be not
directly connected to some specific hardware.

I've tried that one, but did not help :-( I did look and pinentry is
in /usr/lib/ so the path in gpg-agent.conf should be correct. Still
nothing is happening :-(

Maybe this entry has to be corrected somewhere else as well?

Kmail and OpenPGP

2004-06-03 Thread Andreas Bauer
Hello together

I did a apt-get dist-upgrade yesterday and since then I have troubles with
Kmail and signing and/or encrypting messages using OpenPGP.

Since yesterday I am not asked anymore for my Pass-phrase and so the
signing fails and an errormessages tells me if I would like to try again
(resulting in the same error again), send unsigned or exit.

I do have the OpenPGP-crypto module installed, but actually never used it,
as M$ Outlook-user seem to have a problem with it. Therefore I used the
build in OpenPGP that ships with KMail. Still the problem is there no
matter what tool I use.

Outside KMail encryption etc. works fine.

Any idea of where to look? Any help is more then welcome.

Thx
Andi

All things are marked correct (also tried it now with your tip) but no
change :( the filter works applied manually but not on incoming mails. I
had exactly that filter in use for quite some time and can't remember
changing anything in there, and now it stoped working.

Was there a change in Kmail filtering or anything, so that I would have to
define the filter new or anything?

The filter looks as following:
It removes the X-Spam header and then run through programm spamoracle mark
after that comes a second filter that moves all mails marked with X-Spam:
yes to a spam folder and marks them as read.

thanks for any help

Kmail and filtering

Hello together...

I do have some minor problem with Kmail (1.6.2) and filtering my spam
mails. I have set up a filter to use spamoracle in Kmail and it worked
fine for quite some time.

Now it is for some reason not working anymore. Well it works, but only if
I mark the respecting mails and choose "use filter" (or whatever this
point is called in English - use German here). Then the mails are
filtered correctly. But actually he should do that automatically when the
mails come in.

I use several other filters aswell and all work automatically, exept this
one.

Any idea of why this is not working anymore? If you would need more
information, please let me know, I will provided it.

Thank you all

I am running two pc's with sid. After I upgraded fontconfig on one, I had the
same problem. So I replaced the /etc/fonts folder of that pc, with that one
of the other, and the problem was gone. The only difference between both
fonts.conf files is in Line 26. Replace
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1
/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs with
/usr/lib/X11/fonts ,run fc-cache again and re-login.
It seems, that fontconfig doesn't find all fonts.

I had the same problem configuring yammi8beta on sid. I solved it by
installing kdelibs4-dev und passing --with-qt-includes=/usr/include/qt3 to

If this doesn't help, look in config.log why the qt test faild.

BTW: Is anyone packaging yammi, if not I will do it.
