Using true unstable here. Works ok for me.
I am wondering if this is a issue because of the new glibc and gcc?

Move kmail mail dir

2004-05-16 Thread Caveman
Hey all,
By default kmail stores its email messages in ~/Mail
I am wondering if anyone know a way to move this, I also use sylpheed which
uses the ~/Mail folder too.
I use kmail for all my mailing lists and the like, which I want to keep in a
different folder.

I looked around in the kmail options, but I cant find anything.

Any ideas ?

Thanks guys.

Re: USB digital cameras for the total n00b?

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera

Where /dev/sda1 will be the device unless you have scsi disks or another usb
storage device already connected. and /mnt/camera will be the folder.

KDE icon issue

2004-05-01 Thread Caveman
Hi all,

I seem to have a nce little mess after running a update today.
No from what I see the update did not do anything to kde, but after doing the
update I noticed that a lot of the icons are messed up. For example the
internet folder no long has a icon, it shows just as a folder.
Kde control pannel has just folders as well.

I tried removing my .kde folder but its the same. Which makes we wonder a
little I have to say.

I googled around and found that a few people had this issues with going from
kde 3.0 to kde 3.1.

Just wondering if anyone knows a fix or has any ideas on what I should
starting doing.

Problem with matrix Screensaver

2004-04-08 Thread Caveman
Hi all,

I seem to have a problem with the speed of the matrix screen save in kde 3.1
debian testing.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what was wrong ? Or have any ideas of what
to try.

Thanks
