I would be happy, if it is possible, but it isn't. I came to page
Application Selection in Bug Report Wizard and there is a list of
applications - without kgpg. So I tried to use search. When I put kgpg
to Keyword Search, nothing was find, when I put gpg - it found
geheimnis. What am I to do now?

KDE 3.2 CVS - problems

2003-05-26 Thread Ing. Vladimir M. Kerka
Hi, James,
thank you for your great work at KDE 3.2 CVS deb. I installed them last
night, installation went very smoothly and almost all is very fine.
There are several problems I cannot handle myself, so can you give me a
clue?
From the most important to the lesst:
1. Kgpg keeps crashing, I attached file from backtrace
2. there was no konqueror icon on the kicker, there was written (in pop
up) /usr/share/applnk/Internet/konqbrowser.desktop is missing - I found
it in /usr/share/applications and copied to previous mentioned location,
it seems now is it OK
3. when I tried to install kdevelop, installation keeps on uninstalling
gideon - both packages are listed in your repository
4. I cannot install package qsa, which is also listed in your
repository.
Thank you once more for your packages, I am really happy with the new
KDE.
Bye

Re: apt-get update - kweather

2003-01-04 Thread Ing. Vladimir M. Kerka
I think, the bug is reported already - 51936
kicker crashed when kweather can not reach the server. I think, this is
what causes the problem: due to bad settings Kweather cannot reach the
server, but kicker crashes that is why the settings could not be changed
- circular error.

Many thanks for your help.
After doing this symlink I had to do one more symlink:
ln -s libvorbisenc.so.2 libvorbisenc.so.0
and these two symlinks were the right solution.
BTW: Is it a known bug or I am something missing?

Many thanks to both helpers

I second this: Ralf Norden - you did a super work, I am very glad I
tried to use your packages. I like KDE 3.1 and I must say I am really
glad I use Debian, so:
Many, many thanks to all Debian developers, maintainers and other people
who care about packages, many many thanks to KDE developers and thanks
to Ralf Norden. All of you (I am quite sure I forgot to mention lots of
people, who are some way involved) are great and deserve my thanks. SO:
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Happy new year to all on the list, on other debian lists and to every

Re: KDE 3.0.5 packages for debian

2002-11-25 Thread Ing. Vladimir M. Kerka
Thanks for information, I've downloaded packages for woody and it seems
they are working correctly (if you don´t consider my mail to debian-kde
obout crash during font installation).
I have noticed the final release of gcc 3.2.1., so I will wait to KDE
3.1 patiently.
Wish you greast success and I want to express it is really a great piece
of work, this KDE. I love it, use it and I am looking forward to next
release. Thank you and all peple from KDE team, debian maintainers and
others for your care about us, users.

I mean: if packages for sid and woody are the same, why are they divided

all version 3.0.4 and where can I find the appropriate 3.0.5?

Well, I am writing now from Gnome, because of:
1. installing was "little" buggy, but I came through it
2. after logging into kde3.1 there were several error messages like:
Cannot find application/octet stream" and MIME types are not installed"
and there is nothing in my menu and on the desktop.
Can you give me an advice what to do?
Thanks

Several days ago I had the same problem. After several days of playing

Installing g++ and g++ 2.95 dramatically changed situation. Are you

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Yes, of course:
dunadan:/home/kerka# apt-get -u install koffice

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
koffice: Depends: koffice-libs but it is not going to be installed
Depends: karbon but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kchart but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kformula but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kontour but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kivio but it is not going to be installed
Depends: koshell but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kpresenter but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kspread but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kugar but it is not going to be installed
Depends: kword but it is not going to be installed
E: Sorry, broken packages
That's it.
Many thanks for your help.

koffice is missing

2002-08-20 Thread Ing. Vladimir M. Kerka
Hi,
I've just changed my KDE 2.2.2 to 3.0.2. Everything went (almost) fine, but I
couldnt find any APT sources for koffice.
Can any of you give me a hand?
Many thanks
Vlada
