Thanks they are working nicely.

As I was impatient, I rebuilt a few packages from the sources previously in
experimental.
I had to do one change for kwin-common to depend on the binary version instead
of the source version. I do not yet have an account in the Debian Salsa

packages rebuilt against Qt 5.15.1 ?

This is my problem and not your problem but I would be curious to know what I

I can reproduce the empty collection bug. I removed the database and both
configuration/settings files ~/.config/elisarc and ~/.config/kde.org/
elisa.conf.
On a second start, everything works again. It is fetching tracks from Baloo.
I will see what I can do to fix the 0.4 branch but I cannot promise any
timeline.

I did the same.

It would be very nice is somebody with time (maybe on this list) would
contribute automatic rebuild of the Baloo index when fixes land in
KFileMetaData. That would be my hero!

I also did the same with the Elisa database to profit from fixes in
KFileMetaData and Baloo. I should stop sending mails and work on that ;-)

This is an upstream issue with Kirigami2. Please move it to this package as I
am not confident on my ability to do it.

Elisa music player is also broken and any applications using Kirigami2.

I am trying to fix it and have identified the first commit that broke
compatibility with Qt 5.11. It should still only require Qt5.11 but in fact
depends on Qt5.12.

Depending on upgrade of Qt in Debian, the solution may vary.

I am trying to find the minimal fix for that but am unsure about that.

Since the last upload (5.7.1~20161021-2) it seems something is broken.
plasmashell is giving me errors of type:
file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls/Styles/Plasma/TextFieldStyle.qml:76: TypeError:
Property 'hasOwnProperty' of object TextField_QMLTYPE_151(0x3aeed10) is not a
function

I have a software build locally (I rebuilt it agains current Qt) that is giving
me the same type of errors:
file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls/ScrollView.qml:198:
TypeError: Property 'hasOwnProperty' of object
QQuickListView_QML_56(0x561fa9169fe0) is not a function
file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls/ScrollView.qml:198:
TypeError: Property 'hasOwnProperty' of object
QQuickListView_QML_56(0x561fa9321770) is not a function

I believe bug #843208 is a symptom of this.

Best regards (and by the way thanks for your work that is really appreciated).

2016-06-08 Thread Matthieu Gallien
Package: libqt5network5
Version: 5.5.1+dfsg-17

Hello Dear maintainers,

Could you please include fix for bug QTBUG-47011 in qtbase 5.5.1 in case you
upload another package of version 5.5.1 ?

Can you please close my bug report in case you only plan to upload 5.6.y >= 0 ?
The fix is already in 5.6.0.

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Bug#729602: qtbase5-dev: cmake fails to find Sql Qt5 package if all Sql drivers are not installed

2013-11-14 Thread Matthieu Gallien
Package: qtbase5-dev
Version: 5.2.0~beta1+dfsg-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
Trying via cmake to find Qt5 Sql module cannot work because
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/cmake/Qt5Sql/Qt5Sql_QTDSDriverPlugin.cmake refer to
files installed by package libqt5sql5-tds. This package is not a dependency of
qtbase5-dev and in my opinion rightly.
A possible solution could be to install the cmake file of Sql drivers at the
same time than the Sql driver plugin.

Thanks in advance

PDFs. I can launch krunner and type a term inside to search for it and
it works, but krunner is too small to show all the results in a
comprehensive manner. Is there any other way to do a desktop search?
 Thanks for your suggestions.

You should use Dolphin. I tried, hit maybe bugs, but got the job done.

For radeon, this is most likely:

There is no known workaround, you want to switch to XRender if you want to

I have no clue about nvidia, but the former bug seems to be radeon
  specific.

Hello,
I just had a look at corresponding launchpad bug (LP #446578) and is seems
that having kernel mode setting resolves the problem. As far as I understand,
the driver is not enabled in linux-image-2.6.31-trunk-686 because it is a
staging driver.
My question is anybody tested it in Debian ? I mean tested libgl1-mesa-dri 7.6
with kernel mode setting, the radeon driver and KDE ?

You will be able to use Amarok 2.2 equalizer when phonon-backends 4.3.1-5

Bug#473658: qt4-x11: Provide a virtual libqt4-core package to replace the existing old one

2008-03-31 Thread Matthieu Gallien
Package: qt4-x11
Version: 4.4.0~beta1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi
Thank you for packaging the beta of qt4.4. This means I will be able to rebuild
the latest kde4 without over filling my little partition with qt4 build tree.

I have a little annoyance with the split of libqt4-core of qt4.3 in three
packages libqtcore4 and libqt4-xml and libqt4-network (If there is no mistake
from myself). It is no longer possible to use current kde4 packages that are
yet built for powerpc.
So is possible to add a virtual package libqt4-core that requires the same
subset of modules that it direclty provided in earlier versions.

Thanks in advance for any comments

Best regards
