Or you can probably use apt's pinning mechanism to make it auto-upgrade
kde/experimental packages. Something like:

Package: *kde*
Pin: release a=experimental
Pin-Priority: 900

might work. Don't blame me if it breaks your system though. :)

it's because experimental is set to not automatically upgrade as there are
stuff in there that is truely experimental. You can either do it the nasty
way apt-get install package/experimental or wait until I do my next upload.

Experimental not installing

2001-05-13 Thread Daniel Schepler
I added the
  deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian project/experimental/main/binary-i386/
line to my sources.list, and the Packages file is downloading fine.
But apt-get upgrade is just leaving the 2.2-alpha1-3 versions of
packages and not upgrading to 2.2-cvs20010503-1. apt-cache even shows
the 2.2-cvs20010503-1 versions of packages.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I'd rather not
have to go through and force apt to upgrade each package with 'apt-get
install abbrowser=4:2.2-cvs20010503-1', etc.
