Re: Flash and Konqueror 4.x
Thanks for the clarification. Seems like the opposite problem, though: I don't want to block, I want to use Flash: for uploading files (SWFUpload), and playing videos (Flowplayer, JW FLV Player etc.) on my private website. Both work great with Iceweasel, but not with Konqueror. Kind regards, Felix Christoph Burgmer wrote: Konqueror has an option to by default not start the plugin but offer you a button to start it manually. Flash and Konqueror 4.x
Hi, has anybody managed to get Flash working flawlessly with Konqueror 4.x? I guess I tried all of the available plugin packages by now. None do really work, the best I could get was a Well, it works sometimes. Did anybody really succeed? Flawlessly, flawlessly... no; but it works acceptably for me. I don't know what was your particular problem, but in case it helps here's what happened to me and how I solved it: http://forum.kde.org/-solved-flash-freezes-konqueror-and-inutilizes-mouse-t-35698.html El Viernes 27 Marzo 2009 18:28:43 Felix Homann escribió: Hi, has anybody managed to get Flash working flawlessly with Konqueror 4.x? Manolete, ese artista... wrote: Flawlessly, flawlessly... no; but it works acceptably for me. I don't know what was your particular problem, Well, here are a couple of my problems: 1. swfupload does not work (http://demo.swfupload.org/v220/index.htm) 2. Most Videos don't work (Well, Youtube doesn't, blip.tv does, Flowplayerdoes work sometimes). On those sites delivering a non-functional video, Flash does load, but only a black screen is displayed. The hints you gave me didn't help unfortunately. Kind regards, Felix -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Re: Flash and Konqueror 4.x
I suffer that issue as well, from time to time. The only solution I try when this happens is to reload the page; sometimes it works at the first reload, sometimes the 6th, ther's no apparent logic in its behavior. Have you tried to delete those Flash directories mentioned in the KDE Forum link I referred to? Anyway I'd recommend you to ask in http://forum.kde.org, I think you will get more help than here. Good luck On Viernes 27 Marzo 2009 20:37:10 usted escribió: non-functional video, Flash does load, but only a black screen is displayed. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
