Hi Volker, It's in Desktop Behavior - Virtual Desktops What has disappeared w/r to KDE4 is the check button to have different desktops. Michal It looks like you have only one virtual desktop. Hi Sami, Kdeconnect in Debian is only for KDE4 and doesn't work with Plasma5/KF5. There is a git tree (https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-kde/kde-extras/kdeconnect-plasma.git/) for Plasma 5 but that hasn't been uploaded to Debian yet. I'm building Kdeconnect directly from the KDE git tree (http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kdeconnect-kde.git) and it's working on my Debian Plasma 5. Can you share with us how you install it. I've compiled it with cmake, make make install but I get the message Process org.kde.kdeconnect received signal 6 Thanks, Michal -- signature mail Altair 2012/04/11 Michal Bulik | IT Manager SEA T +33 1.41.33.09.55 | F +33 1.41.33.09.91 | M +33 6.16.37.11.50 mbu...@altair.com | altair.com Altair | Innovation Intelligence ®

Without it the 'make install' will install Kdeconnect to wrong directory (/usr/lib/[arch]/ instead of /usr/lib/[arch]/qt5/). You might want to 'make uninstall' before that change to uninstall the files from the wrong directory

Hi, - no possibility to have different virtual desktops I verify this. But the Pager Widget *is there*. You can find it in the widget list (Add Widgets - Pager). When you drag it on the panel, however, nothing happens. This looks like a bug. It looks like you have only one virtual desktop. So just add yet one or more in System Settings. Install on stretch : feedback
Hi, I've updated my stretch laptop to Plasma 5 and here are my first impressions w/r to the KDE4 desktop I've been using until now : - krunner (Alt+F2) shows always on top (no possibility to configure it to become floating - no possibility to have different virtual desktops - the cursor does not always change at windows' corners (to resize) ex. it works nice on icedove but not konsole - can't place plasmoids where I want, some kind of snap to grid is on - kdeconnect is working no more. I've installed the latest version from source but it does not work. I'll try to solve it with the kdeconnect team Things that were different but I could find a solution myself : - Oxygen fonts in konsole were fuzzy. I've changed them to Deja Vu Sans Mono and they look sharper - Switching to classical start menu is obtained via Alternatives option and not directly in the menu Thanks, Michal -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
