You should have kdelibs-data installed, but it isn't possible to run
kmail if you haven't got it installed. Anyway, can you please post
the output of the following command ?

dpkg -s kdelibs-data

thanks

 Hi good morning,

Thks for yr help, here you have the output :

 debian:/home/mcorbella# dpkg -s kdelibs-data Package: kdelibs-data
 Status: install ok installed

Right, I see you're running the woody kde3 backport.

I've checked the kdelibs-data package and the file
/usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/16x16/filesystems/folder_inbox.png is
present. I have no idea why you're not seeing the icon.

Any ideas ?

cheers

I remember that, when using the Woody KDE3 backport, some files (namely
/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/common/*) would misteriously disappear from
the filesystem even though the package was installed. I never was able
to find out the cause, but it did happen.

So, perhaps he should check if
/usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/16x16/filesystems/folder_inbox.png is
actually in his filesystem.

Another idea would be to create a new system user and start kde and see
if the problem persists (should the problem then be narrowed down to
~/.kde, for example).

Bye.
