Those are: kdeedu-* libkdeedu* and the KDE meta packages. The meta packages are probably only changed if a dependency changed. kdeedu cause is described at http://bjorn.haxx.se/debian/testing.pl?package=kdeedu An updated kdeedu needs to be pushed into testing but held back due to a chain of dependencies (looks like qt-x11-free is the cause). Haven't seen any KDE 3.1 stuff in Sarge (but I'm not using the whole KDE system so maybe...) but what would interest me is if KDE 3.2.3 will make it completely into Sarge because currently we have a mix of KDE 3.2.2 and some KDE 3.2.3 packages. Would be very nice because KDE 3.2.3 fixes some really nasty bugs... PS [OT]: Can anyone tell if GIMP 2.0 will make it into Sarge? It would be a shame if Debian would release with 1.2 a half year after the 2.0 release...
KDE 3.2 in sarge?
Hello, will KDE 3.2 make it into the next stable release or will there be a mixture of 3.2 and 3.1 as it is currently the case in testing? Wolfgang

KDE 3.2.1 is in sid. KDE 3.2.2 will be uploaded to sid next week with all known RC bugs fixed. Apparently the Gnome people don't believe they can get Gnome into shape fast enough to make it in before the Sarge release so they have only uploaded Gnome 2.6 to experimental. I think they probably could get it ready in time since Sarge isn't going to be releasing as fast as anyone originally thought. ;) Currently it looks like Sarge won't release until sometime around June. kde 3.2 in Sarge ?
According to this week's Debian News :" A user on Debian Planet noticed that it is quite unlikely for sarge to include GNOME 2.6, which has been rescheduled for March 31st. This would be a pity, especially as KDE 3.2 has gotten in." Yet according to http://bjorn.haxx.se/debian/testing.pl: kdelibs is still stalled and has RC bugs and Debian packages testing still only has 3.1.5. What's the real story here ?

The debs from kde.org were compiled for woody and will have dependency problems on Libranet which is a mixture of sarge and sid.
