No, they're both referring to /dev/pilot, which is a symlink to /dev/ttyS0.

Are you using the same port designation for both methods? i.e. maybe
one refers to /dev/ttyS0 and the other to /dev/pilot, which might not
exist. What are your relevant settings in kpilot?

KPilot and theme questions

2002-03-28 Thread Darryl L. Pierce
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-

1. I'm trying to use my Palm IIIx with Linux and KDE. Whenever I attempt to
hotsync, my Palm always complains that the connection timed out with KDE
after starting (I do start KPilot and it does start the hotsync). However,
I've reset the Palm and tried to hotsync with Gnome and it works fine.

2. I've tried going to http://www.themes.org/ and navigate to their KDE
themes page, but it keeps timing out. I FTP'd into
ftp.themes.org/pub/themes/kde and downloaded everythign they have there. But,
when I try to install them, just about _all_ of them are lacking .themerc or
some other file that's necessary. Where can I download some decent themes for
KDE?

Thanks for any help anybody can offer.
