I assume you already have checked dmesg and ~/.xsession-errors !?

I had a recent freeze on startup that I could solve by moving ~/.config/kwinrc
away and restarting the machine.

AMD64, unstable here with Intel Gfx.

I had similar problems, so far my solution was to upgrade chromium to
the version in experimental and go into single user mode or reboot to
ensure that dbus had been shut down and restarted after any lock-up.

I'm running on an ASUS motherboard with onboard Radeon 3200HD graphics
(RS780) with mesa-vdpau-drivers installed.

Hello,
My system is one Sid AMD64 Kde, Sid wants to say unstable
distribution, at present its name even a little too much to my taste.
Further to the last ones update Debian: gcc-5, libstdc kde jams
constantly, in the starting up with the only one the screen of starting
up and visible progress, black screen...
Today to send you this message I already have to rebooter 5 times.
Am I the only one in this galley? What can you we make?
