I tought he was asking about changing to from SQLite to Mysql, and not the other way around. And I tought I was using SQLite because I really was before version 2 upgrade, but now I saw that Amarok has changed to MySQL Embedded, which I was not aware of, until now. So, forget what I said about migrate from SQLite to MySQL. Anyway, could it be of any help moving my database to an external MySQL? I've only decided to give it a try soon, when I have time. But I think you don't need to purge any of your config, if you do that migration described in [1]. (See above.) Or, if it gets too messy, you can purge everything and build your collection from the scratch, anyway. =) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". (What means that problem 3 seems to be gone.) The others problems are still there, altough the first (about skiping second tracks on the list) sometimes happens and sometimes don't. I'm not sure about what it is related to. I'm using SQLite as database backend, but I'll try MySQL. I just didn't want to have such a dependency of a external program, I would like that Amarok could be able to work all by itself, but, I know that a MySQL database would be much better when it comes to data managment, and switching to it would be not so bothering at all. I'll keep my eyes open and consider to fill some bugs on upstream. =) [1] http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Download:Debian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". I'm using 2.3 now and I don't have any of these issues. I'm currently using all KDE/Qt related stuff from sid/experimental. Third one may be related to your phonon backed. Try to choose another.
