I can't find it in the GUI either, but apparently, from what has been said here today, there is already code to read the configuration file and act on some "secret" setting. If it's there (and I haven't actually looked for it) then adding a way to control it via the configuration page would be a trivial hack, and a great opportunity for some whining user to step up and join the ranks of helpful open source contributors by sending them a patch to address this complaint. If it hasn't already been fixed in CVS, that is. -- D. I am uncertain as to whether a configuration option has been added to the konquerors preferences dialog or if it just exists as an option in the configuration file. I really think there needs to be an option somewhere in the GUI to turn this off. Anders -- - Debian GNU/Linux - KDE 3.5.1 - KMail 1.9.1 -

Maybe that is triggered by the "screensaver wakeup" (fake key press events) which xine sends in regular intervals to keep the screensaver from starting. These can be disabled in xine's "Settings > Setup > gui" menu. That is probably the safest option if you want to use other programs while xine plays something. Uh, so that you can use the keyboard instead of the mouse? If you are browsing a site, and you want to enter a link, you simply press ctrl, and the link gets a letter, you press the letter, and there you go. It's not a bug.
